Calling all wannabe knights and princesses! Come to Kenilworth Castle this February half term and take part in our exciting medieval quest. Search the castle grounds and find all the clues to receive your prize.

All activities suitable for 4-11year olds, 4-7 year olds have to be accompanied by parents but parents are also welcome to accompany older children. To book activities call 024 7630 2912
Survival Dens
Monday 21st February 10-30a.m. – 12noon
Cost £3 per child £4 for non WWT members
Make a tribal headband then join a tribe to make a survival den in the wilderness. Remember we will be testing if it is waterproof.
Hibernating Hedgehogs
Tuesday 22nd February 10-30a.m. – 12noon
Cost £3 per child £4 for non WWT members.
Find out why some animals sleep in the winter, make a hedgehog mask and play some wildlife games.
Beautiful Winter Birds
Wednesday 23rd February 10-30a.m. – 12noon
Cost £3 per child £4 for non WWT members
Visit the bird hide and see which winter birds you can find. Then why not make your very own bird feeder to keep the birds well fed over the cold winter.
Winter Woodland
Thursday 24th February 10-30a.m. – 12 noon
Cost £3 per child £4 for non WWT members
Visit the old trees and learn some interesting tree facts. Then play some woodland games and create your own tree mask.
Wildlife Art
Friday 25th February 10-30a.m. – 12 noon
Cost £3 per child £4 for non WWT members.
Using natural materials create your own work of art. Explore the reserve and then learn about nature’s colours and textures.
Ryton Pools Country Park Bubbenhall
Robin Boxes
Monday 21st February 11-00a.m. – 12-30p.m.
Children aged 5 -12 accompanied by an adult Cost £4-50 per box
Make a nest box for this year’s nesting robins. Find out some fascinating facts about these birds and where the best place to put up your nest box is. Bring a hammer.
Log and Pine Cone Feeders
Tuesday 22nd February 11-00a.m. – 12-30p.m.
Children aged 3 – 12 years accompanied by an adult Cost £3 per child
Create your own log and pine cone feeders to take home and help the birds in your garden to survive the cold winter months. Meet at the visitor centre.
Wild Woods Survival
Wednesday 23rd February 11-00a.m. – 12-30p.m.
Children aged 5 -12 accompanied by an adult. Cost £3 per child.
Can your team complete the challenges set by the rangers and survive? Go through sticky webs, get over the piranha infested river, collect your survival kit and build a snazzy shelter before the time is up. Meet at the visitor centre.
Fantastic Frogs
Thursday 24th February 11-00a.m. – 12-30p.m.
Children aged 5- 12 years accompanied by an adult. Cost £3 per child
Have some froggy fun – hunt for frogs and make a fly catching frog to take home.
Cherry Tree Bugs
Friday 25th February 11-00a.m. – 13-30p.m.
Children aged 3 -12 accompanied by an adult. Cost £2 per child
Join in with the tradition of winter tree dressing and cheer up the trees by decorating them with brightly coloured tree bugs you’ve created yourself.

Children £2-50 per child under 5’s £1-00 Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
